Upon graduating from the University of South Florida in Tampa with a
Bachelors degree in Business, I entered the field of retail management. Over the next ten years I matriculated to middle and
upper management positions with three of the larger companies during the 1970's; from Tampa to New York, Milwaukee and
finally landing in Detroit. My insurance business began 19 years ago and is recognized among the top insurance agencies that
focus their efforts in the area of corporate benefit planning. We are proud to say we service over 300 corporate accounts.
Our client retention has averaged between 98-99% over the last seven years and is a tribute to the service provided by our
associates.

After obtaining a BBA
degree from the University of Michigan in 1979, I earned my CPA certificate and worked in public accounting for 5 years.
I worked for, what today is known as KPMG on their audit staff. In 1984 a client lured me away and
I became the corporate controller for the U.S. operations of a large foreign parent company. Three years
later, after becoming bored with the repetitiveness of accounting, I felt a career change was in order and entered the employee
benefit field. After “cutting my teeth” with a pension oriented agency I joined CGR Benefits
in 1990. I became associated with CGR Benefits solely on the reputation John Renfroe had in the industry.
Today I’m responsible for the qualified retirement plan side of our business but under John’s guidance
I have become proficient in all aspects of our business. The team approach we take with our clients has
contributed to the success of our agency as well as the high level of confidence our clients place in us to handle all of
their benefit needs. |

As Broadcast Journalism major at Western Michigan University, I developed
my voice and diction talents. I feel that these talents have been very instrumental in my success as a Marketing Manager.

my experiences cover virtually every aspect of the industry; from processing claims to being a licensed writing agent.
My business philosophy is simple. At the core is the acknowledgement that our clients are our top
priority. Secondly, my desire is to provide service of the highest quality. And finally, I strive to develop
a significant relationship with each client, taking great pride in giving each my personal attention. I
